Solvent Resistant Removable Blackout Labels

Designed for plastic, metal and glass flat surfaces such as microscope slides, these removable blockout labels can conceal any already existing information, while their glove-friendly adhesive allows them to be easily removed without damaging the information underneath. These removable labels have a unique construction that provides them the ability to withstand spraying with harsh solvents, such as xylene, toluene and alcohols, as well as continuous wiping with surface sanitizing wipes, such as Sani-Wipe™, Eco-Wipe™ and Eco-Wipe™ Duo. Waterproof and made from a wear-and-tear resistant thermoplastic film, the chemical resistant blackout labels can be readily removed without leaving behind any adhesive residue.

These chemical resistant blackout labels can also withstand a wide range of temperatures, from -79°C to +93°C (as tested on glass microscope slides). Ideal for re-identifying slides marked with unclear, erroneous or incomplete information. The versatile labels are also perfectly suited for the identification of microscope slides and other flat surface containers that will undergo short or long-term storage in laboratory freezers, as they will maintain their integrity and adhesion under low temperature conditions.

Compatible with all major thermal-transfer barcode printer brands, the labels are supplied in roll format, on 1” or 3” cores. The labels allow you to print alphanumeric text, serialized information as well as 1D and 2D barcodes.
